The Salvation Army and their efforts in providing food and comfort to those affected by Hurricane Katrina.

100% of the Entrance fees, raffles, silent auctions,
balloon release funds and donations will be
presented to The Salvation Army at this event.

WHO: Scrapbookers know the importance of memories, family and how much they mean to us. We cannot sit by and watch those who have so little and gone through so much without doing something to help.
 
WHEN: September 25th, 2005 from 3 pm to 11pm
 
WHERE: The Holiday Inn Express Hotel and Suites - Elk Grove has donated their Ballroom for this event. They are located at 9175 W. Stockton Blvd. Just off 99 and Laguna Blvd. You can see them on the west side of the freeway.

 

WHAT'S GOING ON: There will be a Games, Buffet Dinner with Dessert, Scrapping projects, Goodie Bags, Hourly Raffles, Silent Auction with items donated by Best Buy, Home Depot to name a few. There will also be a Balloon Release at 8:00 pm.
 
THE BALLOON RELEASE - This is the high point of the night. Balloons will be available (donated by Desi Balloons) for $1. Each dollar raised goes directly to The Salvation Army. You will be able to write a message on your balloon. Then, at the 8:00 hour we will all release our balloons in a gesture of remembrance for those who have lost their lives, homes and families.

HOW MUCH: The cost of the event is $45.00. This will include DINNER provided by donations from Macaroni Grill, Chevy's, and Marie Calendars (so you know it will be great). 100% of the entrance fee will be donated to The Salvation Army.
